In a busy month of international travel, Dan starts September by flying out to Philadelphia to co-host the annual Beyond Sport summit, bringing together business, sport and charity over a four-day forum. Dan returns to South Africa to host the Katlego Logistics Golf Challenge, engineering giant BMG's two-day annual expo, and the Sunshine Tour's media challenge, before a long day of braaing as an ambassador for National Braai Day on September 24. Dan will host the launch of the 8hours mentorship campaign in Cape Town, as well as the official opening of the Springbok Experience rugby museum at the Waterfront with the full Springbok squad, and will link up with the Boks again to host the Chris Burger Petro Jackson gala dinner. After MCing a BMW Golf Cup International event the following day, Dan flies out to Scotland to host the Saturday night gala dinner at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St. Andrews, with an audience of Hollywood A-listers, sporting icons, and the world's most influential businesspeople.

Dan wraps up his season as Vodacom's Super Rugby Fanbassador with the competition's final, before heading north to Euphoria Golf Estate for the Vodacom origins of Golf Gauteng tournament, a role he'll also fulfill at Langebaan for the Western Cape event later in the month. As a National Braai Day ambassador, Dan will host the Cape Town and Johannesburg launches of Jan Braai's new book, "Red Hot'; and as a brand ambassador for BMW, will host events at Soccer City around the Springbok Test match versus the Wallabies, as well as two glamorous BMW polo invitationals in Durban and Johannesburg. In a strong month for philanthropy, Dan will lend his support to AB de Villiers's 'Battle of the Bush' fundraiser, and a cancer awareness fundraising golf day in Johannesburg, and will join the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation in their awareness event with the Springboks. Dan will also join South African rockstar Ard Matthews on stage as host of the annual fundraising 'Ard Matthews And Friends' concert, featuring some of the biggest names in South African music. August also sees the second Builders Sports Quiz, this time in Cape Town, as well as the conclusion of Vodacom's Super Gees campaign, with Dan handing over five cars to competition winners from across the country.

Dan begins the month with a week in New York that includes a visit to the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation project in the Bronx, before returning home in time for the Bulls-Sharks game in Pretoria, and a week later the Stormers-Bulls game in Cape Town, both games supported in his role as Vodacom Fanbassador. The first of the three Builders Sports Quiz evenings happens in Durban, with Dan as quizmaster; July's highlight is definitely the third Investec JAG Invitational, the celebrity golf tournament held at Legend Golf and Safari Resort in support of the JAG Foundation, an event founded and hosted by Dan. This month Dan adds to his back page columns in Discovery and Fancourt magazines with the same space in new publication Sport Health Monthly.
